I'm a well educated, widely traveled man who is seeking someone with diverse interests, reasonable intelligence and who is sexually aware and mature. I like different kinds of music, particularly classic rock, instrumental, classical and Celtic. I am learning to play the classical guitar and also have an interest in learning to play other musical instruments. Reading, hiking, boating, photography, creative writing and cooking are some of the other hobbies and activities I like. I have an abiding and lifelong interest in science and mathematics, too. I like board games, particularly backgammon and chess. As for entertainment, I don't watch much TV with the exception of documentaries, football, basketball and cooking programs. With respect to movies, I love all kinds of sci-fi/fantasy films, as well as movies based on history, human relationships and biographies.

I want and am seeking a life partner for a committed, monogamous, long term relationship, but friendship is also very important to me. I love sex, especially with a partner who is confident, secure, and willing to try different things. I am an incurable romantic who appreciates giving and receiving the little gestures: a special smile, small gifts, wine and roses, a love note. I love to engage in what I call "slow cooker sex" meaning there is lots of foreplay, intense and passionate coupling and then a soft landing afterwards.
