Thanks for checking out my listing. I'm a youthful 60 and that's in real years (as in born in 1954). I was a workaholic executive for a long time and I took early retirement a few years back. I'm trying to concentrate on enjoying my retirement as much as I did on my career all those decades. I'm a genuinely nice guy, with a good, but sometimes quirky sense of humor. I read a lot, mostly popular fiction.

The best thing I've ever done for myself was getting my dog right after I retired. He's wonderful and is truly my best friend. He's also the cutest dog ever. ;^)

My Idea Of Fun Is

Checking out different dog parks when I travel with my dog, Ebenezer. Most anything involving 'Neezer turns out to be fun! I enjoy redecorating my home and making the plans required to do so. I enjoy traveling and try to avoid touristy places (although sometimes one simply must see such sights) and enjoy things as the local would if they weren't working. Places I wish to return: Barcelona, Pompei, Venice, and Florence. Places I always return: various parts of California, New York City, Sarasota.

What Do You Look For?

I look for a guy who has a great sense of humor and is smart and can carry a conversation but who also understands the blessed peace of silence every once in a while. I like a guy with a sense of style that is all his own, who tends to buck the trends. A little quirkiness can be interesting.

I like a guy with muscles, but I'm realistic and know that when guys go to the gym they aren't just looking for a workout. They're looking for other guys with muscles. A muscular guy would be nice, but a sweet, lovable nice guy would be just as good, especially when it's pretty obvious I haven't seen the inside of a gym in a long, long time myself!
