Hi, guys! I'm a warm, good-hearted, intelligent man looking to share my life. As I have lived in France, Belgium, Tahiti and Martinique, I maintain a deep respect for people from all walks of life. Throughout my life, I've gained a fair amount of insight and wisdom, which have served me well in both my personal and professional life as a teacher.
On the lighter side of things, I'm a bit of a romantic who believes in things like cuddling, holding hands and sending flowers. I am also an affectionate and nurturing guy. At the same time, I'm a strong -willed individual who stands up for what he believes in. Oops! I'm a teacher who is ending a sentence with a preposition! :) I'm seeking someone who, like myself, takes good risks and has a sense of adventure, while being able to laugh at himself along the way. A sense of humor definitely helps keep life in perspective. I enjoy long talks with friends, and spending time with my 7 nieces and nephews. Intelligent conversation engages me for hours. I also love joking around with friends--laughing and making them laugh. Traveling is a passion, and I have been to places ranging from Iceland to Tahiti (where I did tours in French of the Polynesian islands). Other cultures fascinate me, and it's great having friends from around the globe.
I am looking for someone whom I can lightheartedly tease, and someone who can give it right back . . . someone with whom I can joke around and just be "silly" . . . someone who makes me laugh and smile. This someone has the qualities that most of us are seeking including kindness, honesty, loyalty and a good sense of humor. But more than that, I am looking for a man who has some depth. A good personality is wonderful, yet it is CHARACTER that makes the man who he really is and what he stands for. Hoping to find someone who is also nurturing and affectionate, and is not afraid to share or show his feelings. Although conflicts inevitably arise in any relationship, it is essential to have two people who care about and respect each other enough to talk openly. A combination of strength and vulnerability is very sexy too! An inner strength speaks for itself, but by vulnerability I mean that you are not afriad to "let someone in" to know the real you. If you are someone who has a strong sense of himself as an individual, yet are looking to share life with a genuine guy, then I hope to hear from you!
