Over the past eight years my life has evolved from being somewhat disappointing into being incredibly fulfilling. It would be great to find a balanced individual to share it with. I believe that the spice to life is laughter and music. Classic cars are a passion, and I hope to own an old Thunderbird someday. Cycling and hiking are favorite weekend pastimes, and this requires welcome roadtrips. Eating out is second to cooking for my man, or being served by a man who can stir a pot himself. I clean up well (as work requires) but I prefer shorts and sandals any old day. Hot weather is my preference, but I also enjoy a white Christmas at my folks home in Colorado. My mother is my very best friend, and I am particular about the people I chose to call friends. I am known for my compassion and empathy, yet I am careful about who receives my trust. There is so much to say, but I'd rather say it in person.

I want to develop my private practice and be able to retire comfortably. On the way I want to adopt a kid and raise him with my devoted partner. I have always wanted to restore classic cars, primarily American cars from the 50's to the 70's. I want to live in the city but have either a cabin in the mountains or a beach chalet. I also want to travel the world.

Taking a road trip down the coast with a special guy to Carmel or Cambria, finding a quiet inn on the beach, and spending tranquil days basking in the sun or walking on the beach. Snuggling together on the chilly nights in front of a fireplace and attending passionately to each others whims. Hopping on bicycles the next morning and getting a good workout on some offroad trails, then rolling into town and chilling out at an outdoor cafe.

I want a man who is comfortable at his stage in life, and not trying to relive his childhood. That doesn't mean he can't be exciting and adventurous, but I don't like a 50 year old guy trying to party like he's 25. Confidence and integrity outweigh education and social status. Effeminate men and boys are immediate rule-outs. I don't do needy or pessimism well either. I like guys who have physically solid structures, but not necessarily gym trained. I absolutely must have a good kisser, and it wouldn't hurt to have someone who could serenade me in the privacy of our bedroom.
