Here's the problem: I need fun. I need adventure. I need a special man in my life to not only help me fully embrace myself, and my sexuality, but to actually live life...not just merely exist. It's a long story, but I'm a year out of a LTR that was a nightmare; he was abusive (physically and emotionally) and controlling, and we just were never right for each other. He cut me off from anything and everyone in the gay community, and I never experienced a lot of that. I don't know if I've missed anything, but after all this time, I'm ready to find out. I feel like I have. I want a nice guy...but does "nice" have to equate to "boring?" I don't think so. There has to be a decent guy with a good heart out there, who's also fun, adventurous, smart, funny, creative, and (yes) dirty... Are you the one Mom warned everyone about? I'm impressionable, and easily influenced (I could say just "easy, " but that's another posting!) In short, I need a caring, nice guy who's also a bad boy - or can be in the moment.

I believe in keeping things simple, and getting to know each other. I think meeting at a bar or club is a terrible idea - it's too noisy, and there are too many distractions. I prefer a nice, quiet dinner out, or at home, and talking - finding out who we really are.

What IS happiness? That’s a complex and subjective question, and there isn't a right answer. Here's a snapshot of my daily life, and what would make me happy: I run off to my 9 to 5 job and rush home to get dinner on the table for my partner. I put his feet up, won't let him do a thing except relax. After dinner, quick cleanup, then we cuddle on the couch together and unwind. Off to bed, we make love, and I give up my ass all night. In the morning, I wake him with a long, slow blowjob or in the shower together. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat... That's it. What more could you ask for?

I'm more quiet and soft-spoken, and I need someone who can encourage me to be more outgoing. I enjoy movies, music/concerts, sports. Love to read, cook (and I love to eat!), shopping. I am definitely a pet lover. Love the outdoors, long walks, hiking, road trips, bowling, having a board game night, or cuddling up on the couch with a DVD. tossing a frisbee in the park, swimming, the gym - though I'm not fanatical about it; it is, and should be, a way to stay healthy, not to fuel some sort of vanity or to just get laid. I'd love to have a partner to work out with, and keep me in check.
I'd be inclined to go out with my partner and have a good time and meet new friends together.
