I consider myself to be honest, upfront, easy going, good manners, witty, serious and stubborn at times. I realize that a strong base of friendship is the building block for a lasting relationship. I value respect, kindness, politeness and consideration of others. I respect a person for who they are and not for economic stature, not for material things, not for their profession. I'm a simple person, enjoy simple things in life, enjoy the usual things as shopping, movies, going out to dinner, making a special dinner for occasions and friends, and enjoying life. I'm basically a homebody type of person. I love animals and have two dogs that I adopted from the shelter who has adapted very well to their new home. They has become my best friends and companions. And by the way, we come as a package.
I'm at an age where I am very comfortable with myself. I feel that my life is getting better as I'm getting older. Age is just a number. It's how you think and feel that matters the most. I'm aware that we all have our own short comings, as I do also, and am continuing to work on them. I am beginning to become self-aware about the challenges in my own life and maybe these gradual shifts to my awareness comes with age. The simple and stubble things in life are what seems to be satisfying and stirring my curiosity the most. A relationship to me must be sharing oneself with the good and bad times, being there for one another, having your own space, being safe, secure, nonjudgmental, and non-demanding. Just be yourself.
I am looking for a man who is comfortable with himself fully, even if it requires himself to be discreet. Someone who identifies as gay but doesn't necessary need to be "out" as some of us cannot be because of our family or profession. I enjoy a man who is passionate, caring, thoughtful, and especially honest as I am. He doesn't have to be perfect, as I am not, but has to try to be the best that he can be.
