Retired at 62, I read all those "how to" books about retirement, yet it took time and hands on experience to find my answers, which are: Maintain your best health, regularly exercise both your mind and body, and stay connected with friends and the greater world around you. Reach out and actively be connected. Don't assume that life will do it for you. With these simple mandates, I'll add that I'm both gregarious and shy, intelligent (upon occasion), kind and generous, a romantic who knows when to "get real", have a strong libido and love sex, am into short haircuts, and have a cynical sense of humor. I'm modestly sophisticated, am well travelled, have many years of education, and have much more to learn from, traveling and being with my friends. I want to find a few more good friends and a loving partner who'll go with me to places we've never been - in so many ways. My first partner died from Leukemia, my second love (lives in Australia)and I were subject to the "Tyranny of Distance". I want to find a friend, who becomes a lover, then a partner, and who'll bring back the "WE" that's missing in my life. I'll find him with the "healthy and connected" perspective I now have, and with the flexibility that's essential if he's to give his love to me...and I'm so eager to begin!

low key, coffee and a walk, perhaps to some galleries, with time to get a sense of one another, no judgments, taking our time yet going as fast as we'd like. A time to learn about one another's pasts, current situation and hopes for the future. Walking at an art festival. Joking and laughing. Nothing too serious, unless...and showing one another a good time.

Mindig kipróbáltam volna a(z)

...to visit Angkor Wat, Bilbao (Spain), Bhutan, and to spend time on the Silk Road. I want to keep moving forward with a good perspective upon what I want to accomplish and what I've learned from my past mistakes. You cannot, and should not, and don't want to...change people to fit a preconceived mold. If you must, your relationship will fail; even if you stay together. Perhaps hackneyed, yet a Healthy Relationship takes work, and patience, and kindness, and emotional generosity, and good sex, an underpinning of trust, an awareness of the big picture (always), and a whole lotta love. It's taken me a long time to learn these basics, but I'm proud to say I KNOW them now. Easy to say, difficult to maintain, yet ENTIRELY Worthwhile!

Make a few more good friends and find another life partner with whom I can enjoy the rest of this life. I want to make it easier for those less fortunate than me, be a great listener, act upon my dreams, support my partner in a thousand ways and more, and have him do the same for me.
