I Would Describe Myself As

Although I entertain many ideas as to the man I'm searching for, essentially, I want a buddy, around 40-68, to have fun with, to dine with, to see the world with, to confide in, to laugh with, to cry with; in short, with whom to be a friend, leading eventually to a long term relationship. However, it is preferable that this endeavor begin slowly. Trust, self-confidence, sense of humor and fun-loving attitude are essential to a strong foundation and would provide a good start.

As for myself, at 6'1", 195 lb, ddf, hiv-, I am one who enjoys staying at home as well as traveling the world. I feel as comfortable in a suit as in a pair of jeans and am in a career which fosters both the formal and the casual but predominantly the latter. I’ve spent much of my life travelling the world, having been to most of the countries of Europe, east Asia, north Africa and the Middle East as well as around the US and Canada. Am looking forward to seeing New Zealand, Australia and South America.

Closer to home, my particular loves are skiing in the winter and mountain hiking/camping in the summer. Also love dancing and when I have the time, do learn and practice ballroom as well as country-western dancing.

Finally, as much as it would be great to meet as many folks as possible, it would really be much more practical to have you be within 50 miles of San Francisco.
