I really love dogs, but I'm not too thrilled about weasels. So, I guess I'd never date a politician. That being said, I'm opening the door to everyone else tired of the usual rodents who would really like to establish a sane, refreshing rapport which would lead to something meaningful. I think you and I can do better, and it's time to change the formula.
I never realized when I was much younger how difficult the whole relationship process would become when I acquired a few gray hairs. The good thing about all this is that although all my plumbing still works (and quite admirably, I might add!), I have also attained a certain wisdom through experience. What I find most essential and important now more than ever is how valuable is a devoted heart, an affectionate character and a loving, romantic nature. Now, I have always been one for all the above, but finding these remarkable qualities in a potential partner have become, unfortunately, more and more elusive as the years go on. The bars just don't cut it, and it's amazing how cliquish social clubs can be. So, here is my option on Gay mature dating.
My basic stats are already noted, so I won't bother you with those. I would like to add that I am drug/disease free, professional and a near north side Chicago resident. I enjoy the arts, exploring new and exotic restaurants and am musically diverse.
I tend to gravitate toward men who are masculine, protective alpha types but who also possess a romantic, loving nature.
Drama does not exist in my vocabulary. There's far too much of it in our daily lives. I'd like to find someone who likes to think that being in a relationship, although having its occasional ups and downs, can essentially be an oasis from the craziness of the world --- a place where my partner and I can be ourselves, relax and enjoy each other. We would be each other's best friend, confidant, lover and, on occasion, Mother Theresa. Well, maybe not that far, but you get the idea.

Now, that's not to say I am without my faults! Lord knows, I have been known to eat one too many bags of potato chips, but I think you know where I am coming from. And anyone who is even remotely touched by my words is invited to at least respond and reach out. It doesn't matter whether you are located here in Chicago or in the suburbs or clear across the globe. If two people are meant to be together, they will always find a way.
