I'm a retired Army officer, 71, but a very young 71, 5'11", 239#,   gay & out to
most.   It would be great to meet new friends for coffee or whatever. I am a kind, generous, stable, compassionate, financially sound, gentle, fun loving, versatile,  and playful romantic who seeks the sweet intimacy and support of a loving relationship. Fun encounters along the way,  even when brief,  keep life stimulating and exciting. 

I enjoy my home, relaxing, cooking, puttering and gardening. Even more, I love adventure and travel to new and beautiful places, wining and dining along the way, taking advantage of pop and cultural activities, new exciting wine tastings and cvulinary expriences.  I must admit to being a "shopper". I enjoy, dancing, entertaining, fine dining, board games, computer fun, my HDTV, movies, theater, fiction, a little strength training at the gym, enjoying my motorhome, and just hanging out with friends. All of these experiences are enriched when shared, so I admit that  sharing a cozy couch, cuddled with a sweet partner before a crackling fire tops my list. A cruise to warm and sunny climes isn't far behind - as in" Aloha". I'm an animal lover and my constant companion is a four year old Basset hound named Bailey. He is dying to meet you.

I'd like to meet a "down to earth" practical guy who's not afraid to dream or take a reasonable risk. A guy who shares my belief that real love is the desiring of all good things for the object of that love. I want a partner, a pal, a confidant, an advisor, one who cares enough about me to be honest but gentle in criticism, but support me in my decisions whichever way they go. This is me and I guess I am looking for a matching soulmate. Sometimes slow to act, but always steady, a man of integrity, truth and trust who still is playful, fun loving, romantic and adventurous. These are the qualitiesd that attract me to friends as well. Education is great but it doesn't replace intelligence or the wisdom, prudence, and sound judgement acquired through a lifetime. I want a “keeper”, a romantic, physical and sensous male unafraid to express or accept the mutual expression of physical endearment, be it today, tomorrow, or forever.
