Retired - taught vocal and choral music for 23 years - then worked as a travel agent. In spite of my age and the fact that I've smoked for the last 55+ years, my voice has treated me well. After MEN, my passions are music & travel.

I lived in the midwest my first 43 years - moved to Hawaii in 1980. Because of cost-of-living, I will relocate to San Antonio in the next several months.

I'm a very open person - Age, ethnic background, religion, looks, physical abilities, etc. are unimportant. It is my feeling that since we, as gay men, want to be accepted by others, I must be accepting of others. I am a gentle person and would like to find another who fits that description. Because of my musical background, I would like to find a partner who is open to many types of music.

Mon idée du fun

Spending time with my partner and our friends. I said I don't have pets but that is because of apartment restrictions. I am a real animal person. Spending a day at a good zoo is very exciting for me. Going to an orchestral or choral concert or a theatre performance is great. Going for walks with my partner, especially if we can hold hands, is one of my favorite things to do. Volunteering my time at my Public Radio Station and tutoring adults for Hawaii Literacy are also "fun" for me. Going to new places is always fun.

In many ways I am a dreamer. Ideally I would find a man I can love and who can love me... that we will enjoy being with each other. Pollyanna? Perhaps! Being willing to discuss difference is a must. At my age, I tend to be somewhat "set in my ways." That is something I am working on.
