late fifties, kind, loving, attractive but am embarrassed I was in the closet and mostly denied myself the sex and love of other good men - just became a workaholic-Terrible! Been looking for a stronger support group with new and more friends. Also I do admit I am self conscious at first. Sensitive, lonely & all the stuff that goes with it.
Due to Neuropathy (Numbness/weird nerve sensations in the feet) I recently lost the ability to safely walk in Public so now use a wheelchair in public Now that helps an already mature single male in finding a date, LET ALONE a LTR! I can understand though. If your in a chair you're "defective"- worse than old, DISABLED. Yuchhh...especially by some segments of the gay community.

Hanging out with good friends to do nothing at all or to a BBQ, etc. Sitting at home with an intimate friend while watching a DVD and cuddling. Ditto at a close friends house. Helping friends with some project they may be helping another in the group with. giving and getting love in some manner-not necessarily sex related every time at all-could be helping someone in some manner to snuggling with someone to helping paint a new house's modifications.
