I'm looking for a LTR. My best qualities are that I'm an agreeable sweet man, very intelligent, active in the Presbyterian Church USA both locally and nationally. I have a good tenor voice and sing in my church choir. I like to read fiction, mostly fantasy and SF, though I also read other fiction, history, and popular science. I am a psychology professor and an expert on names who writes a newspaper column on the subject.
My main fault is that I'm a messy packrat and own way too many books that I may never have time to read, but can't stop buying them. Because of allergies I can not date a man who smokes tobacco or anything else.
I swim a mile three times a week and try to walk for exercise three other days a week. On Wednesdays I walk with the Omaha Front Runners group. In spite of that, I am overweight and have a hard time losing it.
As a psychologist I know that although opposites often attract, successful long term relationships are built on similarities. So I would do best with another agreeable, broadminded, nonmaterialistic guy who's willing to support my church commitment even if he has different religious beliefs. And someone who wants to try holding hands.
