I don't care if my reach exceeds my grasp, it gives me more to reach for. I worked out for decades, within the last two years I sustained six surgeries. By the fifth one I begged my doctor to use only a local aesthetic. He looked at me as though I were crazy. Maybe so, but the effect on my consciousness and awareness was palpable. I think if I got back in the pool, lap swimming again, I could recoup some losses. I'm into ANYTHING intellectually stimulating. I'm a people person. I worked with people who were mentally challenged for twenty four years. Best job I ever has. I need to volunteer.
